TESTIMONIALS
Singer
I came to Margaret Osborne after an 11 year absence from professional singing. The cognitive behavioural approach she used was practical and very effective in dealing with negative thinking. Her empathy, humour and compassion helped me to negotiate the emotional, mental and practical pathways involved in a return to the stage after a long absence. I am grateful to her and recommend her professional services to anyone looking for support in dealing with perfomance.

Dancer
I am a competitive Irish dancer. I used Margaret's sports psychology services in the hope of improving my ability to focus on the task, and to not be overcome by nerves at the critical moment. I also wanted to learn to think like a winner. As a result of the time spent with her, and the tools she gave me to cope with the performance anxiety, I now see my craft and my own skills in a completely different light. When competing in major championships after I had consulted Margaret, I found I had no nerves, and was deeply confident that I had the ability to dance to my upmost, and to be a contender for the title. I learned how to feel perfectly prepared, and experienced that prized feeling of being completely in control of the moment. I was, for the first time in a long time, eager to step onto the stage, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience of being up there, rather than aching to get away from it. I danced with a smile on my face, and felt like I was where I belonged. My renewed attitude on stage made all the difference to the way I performed. The greatest thing lacking from my abilities, had been my belief in them, but after seeing Margaret, it was like a self-imposed mental block had been lifted and I was able to approach my performance with pride in myself, excitement over the task, and confidence in the result.
