Margaret Osborne

Dr Margaret Osborne is a Registered Psychologist experienced in treating adolescents and adults with various personal, performance, school and workplace issues.

Margaret completed her BPsych(Hons) at Macquarie University in 1998, and registered as a psychologist in 2002. In 2008 she completed her PhD thesis entitled "Music Performance Anxiety in Young Musicians: Conceptualisation, Phenomenology, Assessment and Treatment" at the University of Sydney, with numerous ground-breaking international publications. She is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS), the Australian Association for Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (MAACBT), and the Australian Society of Performing Arts Healthcare (MASPAH).

In addition, Margaret is an occupational rehabiltation consultant and Employee Assistant Program counsellor. In these roles Margaret provides the following services: counselling, case management, specialised assessments, liaison with key stakeholders such as insurers, employers and treating health professionals; whilst having a pro-active approach to the implementation of injury management services.
